Soren got really into the filling-the-shaker part. He loved grabbing handfuls of pasta and dropping them into the tube.
And when your shakers are done -- DANCE!!

I started doing crafts and theme units with my daughter last winter, during my newborn son's morning naps. I hope these give you some fun ideas, and I really hope you'll try them and let me know how they went for you -- and suggest your own ideas for me to post!
