I started doing crafts and theme units with my daughter last winter, during my newborn son's morning naps. I hope these give you some fun ideas, and I really hope you'll try them and let me know how they went for you -- and suggest your own ideas for me to post! We made ice sculptures too this winter. We put berries, pine cones and other fun natural objects in our. Love the idea of adding color! Great activity.
